Development of New Procedures and Devices for Dry Magnetic Separation of Ferromagnetic Powdered Materials Using Specific Methods of Engineering Creativity

Establishing the classification criteria and performing the classification for the technical solution is an important stage in the creative process, offering a global view on the state-of-the-art and on the trends in the design of devices for magnetic separation of powdered particles. The specific individualisation of the classification criteria, drawing the cart, creating the matrix of ideas, as well as the elaboration of the generalized object of the technical creation, represent stages in the creative stream that leads to new magnetic separation procedures and devices. Among the numerous methods of magnetic separation, the one, using dry magnetic separation of ferromagnetic powdered materials, was chosen by the author as a case study.
