摘要

Relative accuracy influences elevation derivatives such as slope, aspect etc., which are essential for geomorphic studies. There is a proliferation of Digital Elevation Models (DEM) from remote sensing yet relative accuracy receives little attention compared to measures of absolute accuracy. This paper assesses the relative accuracy of both "first return" Digital Surface Models (DSM) and "bare-Earth" Digital Terrain Models (DTM) of varying ground sample distance (GSD) derived from InSAR and LiDAR. Special reference is made to glacial geomorphology, with the test site being a drumlin field.
