The two-fluid two-pressure model for 1D gas-liquid pipe flows is considered. The system of governing equations is hyperbolic and can be formulated in a conservative form. The model is implemented numerically using a Godunov-type scheme with GFORCE numerical flux. Two simulationcases are presented: water faucet test to validate the numerical scheme and air-water flow in a V-tube to demonstrateslug capturing technology in the frame of the approach considered.
