Since it is serious problem for carbon fiber to join to other materials, a relation between implant depth of carbon fiber and its strength with a transparent adhesive polymer has been studied. Single carbon fiber (6 micro meter diameter) is set on the paper with adhesive polymer. Stress-Strain curves are obtained by using a twisting relaxation tensile tester. Increasing the implant depth increases the fracture stress. Implant depth of carbon fiber in adhesive polymer contributes the joining force. Furthermore, the tensile fracture stress exhibits the high constant value above the critical implant depth.
