摘要

In this article, ANSYS, a large general FEM software, is selected to carry on stress of mises of the tensile high strength bolt in extended end-plate connection,deformation of end-plate, distribution and change of prying force and tensile force of bolt. Prying force is proved to exist according to the results of FEM analyse. The influence of prying force descends obviously with the thickness of end-plate and the stiffener. It indicates that the prying force increases the tensile force of bolt assuredly.The tensile force distribution of high strength bolt is a trapezoid which is rolled by the center of compression flange. By the result of calculation formula, it indicates that the formula about prying force is simple and applicable for design.
