ONE SOLUTION OF STRIP CLEANING IN HIGH SPEED LINE

摘要

Normally cleaning of fresh strip after cold rolling is an easy job under normal line speed.But sticky oil and dirt on strip, which is often found in old coil after cold rolling is difficult to be cleaned up by normal cleaning system. And even fresh coil also is difficult to be cleaned up in high speed process line. Authors have made several cleaning tests with our high speed cleaning simulator by using not only plain nylon brush but also abrasive nylon brush under most efficient cleaning system including SEC (Spray Electrolytic Cleaning Equipment) and found one cleaning solution by using abrasive nylon brush.
