摘要

Hot dip galvanized process is one of solidification process and solidification structure and solute distribution in galvanized layer largely affect the appearance and performance. Therefore, it is important to clarifiy the solidification mechanism of Zn-Al alloy in the hot dip galvanized process. In this study, for the basic understanding of solidification phenomena during hot dip process, the effect of cooling rate on the solidification structure in Zn-10%Al alloy was examined in the unidirectional solidification experiment and hot dip model experiment Moreover, in-situ observation of galvanized solidification of Zn-10%Al alloy was performed by using time-resolved X-ray imaging technique in syncrotron radiation (SPring-8).
