Creation and optimization of polarization converters is a hot problem in radio electronics (including quasi-optics) [1-2]. This problem requires the further consideration. Namely, theoretical means mast be refined (against the quasi-static approach [3] and others.). Also, the efficiency of different converter designs should be compared. Simpler and nontrivial variants are welcome. The present work concerns with resonant regimes of the wave polarization conversion after the passage of a cascade of two or three crossed gratings. The scattering problem is formulated in rigorous terms (on the basis of work [4]). The optimization techniques upon the method from [5] have been improved. Two variants of three-grating crossing are considered. The case of field polarization turn through an acute angle is examined towards a simpler converter design.
