Topological joint spectrum of generators and continuous characters

W Zelazko in [10] proved that there is a one-to-one correspondence between continuous characters of a commutative finitely generated semitopological algebra and the topological joint spectrum of its generators This is a generalization of a classical theorem in the theory of Banach algebras. We present a noncommutative version of Zelazko's result.
