Although there have been numerous studies on synthesizing sinusoidal oscillators using current feedback op-amps (CFOAs), most of them have dealt with circuits providing a voltage-mode signal (from a low-output-impedance node). However, the problem of realizing Oscillators with explicit current output (from a high-output-impedance node) using commercially available CFOAs has rarely been explored in the technical literature. This paper addresses itself to this task, applies a systematic state-variable method for synthesizing such oscillators and reports three new circuits of this kind whose workability has been confirmed by experimental results using AD844 type CFOAs.
