摘要

Nowadays, there are numerous studies on the degradation of endocrine disrupters. These substances are found in aquatic environments at very low concentrations that cause damages in humans and animals (Ternes et al, 1999). Natural (17β-estradiol and estrone) and synthetic estrogens (17α-ethynylestradiol) have been receiving special attention from the scientific community. Many studies show that these chemicals are the main cause for the observed estrogenic activities in effluents from DWTP.
