In Memoriam Walter Philipp

Walter Philipp was my close personal friend for over 30 years. Scientifically we did not interact until about 1999 when we started working on the Theorem of Bell. Below are a few impressions about our collaboration. They may lack the mathematical precision that Walter always demanded when we wrote something together. He used to read our manuscripts many times and I could never get them perfect enough. I had great difficulties and heartaches to type this text.
