We report the results of a series of measurements of the ratio of the electric-and magnetic form factors of elastic ep scattering, GEP/GMP up to Q2 - 5.6 GeV2, using the recoil polarization method A new experiment to measure GEP/GMP to Q2=9 GeV2 is currently being prepared The understanding of the structure of the nucleon is of fundamental importance in nuclear and particle physics.
