combining the research progress and situation of sustained-release preparation of chinese materia medica in recent years, this thesis summarizes the relative lagged reasons of sustained-release preparation of chinese materia medica comparing that of western medicine, and analyzes the problems of study of sustained-release preparation according to the particularity of Chinese materia medica, Then this thesis discusses the key roblems such as study of material basis, theestablishment of quality evaluation methed, etc, in the research process of sustained-release preparation.
