Low voltage bandgap references are vital blocks in all analog systems. In this paper, a modified sub bandgap reference voltage with PTAT current generator is presented. The traditional sub BG circuit generates 0.8V with thermal noise 197nV/√Hz for 71uA, while the modified circuit achieves 157nV/√Hz for 47uA. The technology used is AMS 0.35um. The minimum supply voltage in this technology is 1.2V with normal devices due to its high threshold voltage. That BG is working properly from 1.2V to 4V with 400 ppm/V.
