A Health Check and Prediction System for Lifestyle-Related Disease Prevention

Recently, with the westernized of culture and eating habits, lifestyle-related diseases, such as cancer, heart disease, apoplexy, had become the main reason of people's death in Japan. The accumulation of improper lifestyles such as stress, eating habits, smoking, drinking, is the inducement of the lifestyle-related disease. It is also found that lifestyle-related disease could be prevented with balanced lifestyles. Therefore, this research focuses on the construction of a health check and prediction system for lifestyle-related disease prevention by checking people's condition and lifestyles in everyday life. In this paper, firstly, the vague concept of medical knowledge is quantified by using fuzzy sets. Secondly, based on the Distance-Type Fuzzy Reasoning Method, a reasoning algorithm of health-check is built up. Furthermore, a method is proposed to predict the risk of lifestyle-related disease. Finally, the usability of proposed methods is verified by some experiments of developed health check and prediction system.
