摘要

As an important and powerful tool to research, design and analyze the complicated problems, computer simulation technology has been employed in many fields such as mechanical engineering, automatic control engineering and national defense construction and so on. In this paper, computer simulation technology has been applied firstly in the finish machining process of large area polycrystalline diamond (PCD). On the basis of kinematics and geometry principles, the complicated movements of lapping and polishing process of PCD have been analyzed. The computer dynamic simulation and path imitation have been carried out and path types of these two machining processes have been analyzed and optimized. This research has been applied successfully in the finish machining process of PCD.
