摘要

In order to control low current density steadily, the direct current is replaced by a pulse current for Electrolytic-Abrasive Machining (EAM). In this paper, a fresh viewpoint for the reasonable use of pulse current in EAM is first advanced, i.e. pulse current is able to regulate the relative participating time between electrolytic and abrasive actions. The experiment results show that the pulse current is conducive to paucity of metal removal, and mirror or quasi-mirror finish can be achieved conveniently.
