摘要

The development of a high modulating oil burner by means of separating the vaporization and combustion is presented here. The vaporization process is based on chemical pre reactions ("cool flame") which are stabilized in a compact "vaporization reactor", vapo. A reliable and autothermal process in a wide capacity range (2-20kW) was proven for more than 2500 hours (ongoing long term testing), with no residues occurring in the system. Actually the developing process is focused on combining the vaporizer with a porous medium burner and adapting the system into a condensing oil fired boiler.
