The human body is a complex system which reacts upon the ambient conditions such as temperature, air speed, radiation intensity, etc. by sweating or shivering in order to control its heat balance. On the other hand, the ambient flow field is influenced by the heat and moisture released by the body. This document outlines a coupled approach where ANSYS CFX is used to calculate the ambient flow field and SINDA/G is used to model the heat fluxes, sources and temperature distribution inside the human body. Basis of the latter is the well-known model of Tanabe [1].
