New Aliphatic Polyisocyanates for Environmentally-friendly PUR Coatings

Polyurethane chemistry is one of the preferred technologies available to design high performance coatings. In the past 30 years, polyurethane-based coatings have proven to be ideal candidates to fulfil the tough requirements of very demanding applications like automotive OEM or car refinish. Their success comes from the outstanding properties brought by polyurethane backbones such as exceptional durability, high solvent and mechanical resistance (hardness/flexibility compromise), fast film forming and drying at room temperature, and very good adhesion onto various substrates.
