ON BOUNDARY LAYER CONTROL IN TWO-DIMENSIONAL TRANSONIC WIND TUNNEL TESTING

In this paper a closed-form analysis of flow in a two-dimensional transonic wind tunnel, that uses sidewall distributed suction around the model to reduce sidewall boundary-layer effects, is presented The point of interest of this paper is the control over the boundary layer along the side walls of the transonic wind tunnels.
