摘要

A contractile function of cardiomyocytes making up heart tissues has gotten attention recently. Cultured cardiomyocytes convert chemical energy into kinetic energy efficiently and beat themselves autonomously. A novel bio hybrid micro power generator using the contractile force of cultured cardiomyocytes is proposed. In addition, a PZT fiber was utilized for cell immobilized substrate and electro-mechanical coupling material. In this paper, preliminary experimental results were shown to prove this principle.
