First Results on Resource-Constrained Project Scheduling with Model-Endogenous Decision on the Project Structure

1 Introduction In the classical resource-constrained project scheduling problem (RCPSP, cf., e.g., [2]) the project structure is given exogenously, i.e. all jobs have to be implemented. In this paper, the RCPSP is extended by a model-endogenous decision on the project structure in order to include alternative modalities which activate specific jobs and precedence relations.
