摘要

In this study, a numerical method is presented for predicting crack width in concrete. First, modeling of concrete is investigated to estimate crack width. Next, a procedure for identifying micro-material parameters in the particle model is presented on the basis of results obtained by the preliminary FE analysis. Finally, the cracking analysis using particle model on the RC beam specimens under 3-point bend is carried out and flexural crack widths are predicted. As a result, the particle model can predict flexural crack widths in the RC beam with sufficient accuracy.
