摘要

Penetrative convection and large-scale non-axisymmetric flows at the base of the solar convection zone are modelled in anelastic approximation. Physical parameters for this region are taken from the standard solar models. Transition from convective stability to instability is determined by change in the value of thermal conductivity. 2D numerical simulations show formation of large-scale long-lived structures that is attributed to deformability of the interface between convectively stable and unstable regions.
