TAEE: A NEW Transmit-rate Aware Energy Efficient Routing Algorithm For Multicast/Broadcast In Ad Hoc Network

摘要

Ad Hoc network environment presents formidable challenge to the research of broadcasting and multicasting problems. In this paper we focus on the relationship between energy-efficiency and transmit-rate of the tree that used for broadcast or multicast. We developed the TAEE (Transmit-rate aware energy efficient) algorithm for both broadcasting and multicasting in Ad Hoc network. We demonstrated our algorithm can increase the transmit-rate of the whole network significantly at low energy cost, which is extremely important in this environment
