This research is concerned with design, modelling, fabrication, and packaging of a particular class of Lorenz magnetometer utilizing a xylophone-bar resonator(XBR) as the sense element. The aim is for the device to be operated under onboard closed-loop control incorporating electromechanical parametric gain amplification. The work is ongoing, and is presented in its current state.
