摘要

To provide sustainable and environmentally friendly lubrication with high-pressure rheological and tribological data of biodegradable vegetable oils, their high-pressure viscosity and phase transition were evaluated employing a diamond-anvil pressure cell. And friction and wear properties for these oils were evaluated employing a SRV tribo-tester. High-pressure viscosity of 7 oils including rapeseed oil, soybean oil and polyol ester (POE) were resulted to show almost the same features and values. Pressure-viscosity coefficients of all oils around maximum pressure were 7/GPa (0.5-1.4 GPa) at 100°C and 3-4/GPa( 1.8-2.7 GPa) at 200°C. Finally, lubricant oils except for POE were observed to transit to polycrystal-like phase. Friction coefficient for all the oils was about 0.1. Wear amount of POE was to be over twice larger than that of vegetable oils.
