The Essential Elements of Caring when Building Innovative Service in South-African Township

When developing digital health care services there is a need for close cooperation between native and non-native developers. Via educating local people it is possible to find out health needs of families and develop an appropriate e-services. A group of Finns and South-Africans is developing a novel MNCH-channel (Maternal, Newborn and Child Health) in order to promote health. The channel uses the internet and mobile phone networks. A Finnish health care teacher taught local 'health leaders' what the core elements of caring were. Leaders videotaped township living.
