High magnetic fields in the range from some kilohertz up to some hundreds of kilohertz often are generated in industrial environment due both to harmonic distortions, produced by power electronic supply, and to specific equipment (e.g. induction heaters) [1]. As in low frequency devices, a simple solution for magnetic field mitigation can employ conductive and soft magnetic sheets suitably disposed around the field source [2]. However, the behavior and efficiency of these shields can significantly differ with respect to the low frequency applications, due to a more pronounced skin effect and to a sensible degradation of the magnetic properties at the frequency increase.
