Exchange Interactions in Polymer Chain Complexes Cu(hfac)_2L~R: An EPR Study

Our work is focused on the investigation of exchange interaction in copper-nitroxide complexes, since these systems are important in the field of molecular magnetism. In this study we use the complexes of Cu(II) hexafluoroacetylacetonate (Cu(hfac)2) with two pyrazol-substituted nitronyl nitroxides (L~R, R = alkyl), which represent the unusual exchange-coupled three-spin systems.
