Single crystals of synthetic forsterite (Mg_2SiO_4) doped with Tm~(3+)or Tb~(3+) ions for the first time are studied by high-frequency continuous-wave EPR spectroscopy in the frequency range of 84 - 350 GHz. All results were obtained at liquid helium temperature and magnetic fields in the range from 0 to 0.9 T on a tunable high-frequency EPR spectrometer described in detail in [1].
