The experimental results on the formation of supersaturated solid solutions (SSS) during mechanical alloying (MA) in binary Fe-M systems based on iron with the sp-elements M=C, B, Si, Ge, Al, Mg, Sn, Pb using Mossbauer spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction are presented in the report. MA was performed in a planetary ball-mill Pulverizette-7 in argon atmosphere.
