摘要

Thanks to efficient combinations between State of the Art Eddy Current (EC) and Vision technologies (VT) directly connected with Steel Making / Rolling Mill database, a complete process review could be organized from liquid to hot rolled then final products transformation for a high productivity Industrial examples with Qualitative Surface Defects Detection by EC + VT, then Statistical Process Studies are presented in this paper. Attacking root causes on time with Production, Process, Maintenance and Quality Multidisciplinary Team Operators brings quick Technical Responses for Consistent Process Improvement Actions. Additional Improvements could be achieved through the Cold EC + Vision information control from the Final Drawing / SBQ Product transformation organized with Steel Making /Rolling/Hot Eddy Current+Vision data base in order to achieve a complete close loop process benefiting to a Complete Production Line transparency.
