An integrated gear development system from virtual modeling to manufacturing on 5 axis CNC machining centers

Breton has developed an integrated gear development system that starts from the gear surface modeling and simulates the tooth contact pattern on the 3D surface model. With an iterative process it applies on the gear flank surface topological modifications that are finally confirmed on the real gear machined on a 5 axis CNC machining center.
