Self-avoiding polymer chains

摘要

An explicit expression is derived for the distribution function of end-to-end vectors for a self-avoiding polymer chain in a one-dimensional space. This formula is applied to evaluate the effect of strength of excluded-volume interactions on the mean-square end-to-end distance.
