Basic Principles and Foundations of Information Monitoring Systems

IMS works with diverse, multi-level, fragmentary, unreliable, and varying in time information about some problem/process and allows performing monitoring of the problem/process evolution and working out strategic plans of the problem/process development. The most difficult point in development process is the elaboration of structure of the problem/process model. Perspective way for automation of this process (development of the model of problem/process) is an application of advanced technologies like data mining. Our first experiments shown that data mining can be a good tool for this task especially if we have enough data on the problem/process. Developed methods for problems 1-3 (section 10.3) allow us to guarantee optimum work of IMS.
