摘要

A new type of box girder, which is made of reactive powder concrete (RPC) precast segment prestressed by external tendons, is presented in this paper. The new material of RPC provides superior mechanical properties and high durability. The technology of precast segmental girders with external tendons has been accepted and practiced. The structural concept is based on the combination of the advantages of RPC and prestress technology. Furthermore, the mechanical properties of the structure are discussed, and some conclusions are obtained.
