摘要

The softening of fiber-reinforced concrete (FRO was discussed. Based on Yu's unified strength theory (1991), a unified strength criterion for strain softening materials was put forward. After the elastic and the plastic limit loads of FRC thick wall cylinder subject to internal pressure were discussed in detail, the unified solution of such loads was presented and some other solutions deduced from Tresca, Mises, Mohr-Coulomb and Yu's twin shear theories could be regarded as its special examples. Besides, the influence of both materials' strain softening and intermediate principle stress were analyzed and the results show that the presented solution would be more fit for computing the limit compression loads of materials with different tensile and compression strengths and those of thick walls made of different FRC.
