This paper describes the effect of process conditions and the structure of basalt fabric on the properties of inorganic composite materials made from geopolymer, including that at elevated temperatures. The optimum conditions of thermal pressing were determined during the study; at that the strength of obtained composite was not less than 105 MPa. It was also demonstrated that the twill fabric permits to obtain stronger laminates. The investigation of thermal resistance of inorganic composites demonstrated that a possible operational temperature range for these materials could be 380°C or higher, up to 500°C for a short time.
