Propagation of uncertainty for quasi linear equations using Taylor Expansion Series with application in pressure metrology

摘要

Many scientific or engineering models need analysis of uncertainties in order to avoid misleading results. Evaluating uncertainties includes evaluating random variables. The method presented in this paper investigates the use of Taylor Series Expansion for calibration in equations characterized by a low degree of non-linearity with application in pressure metrology. The end result can be evaluated by the use of a spreadsheet.
