摘要

The accurate prediction of BTEX solubility in natural gas conditioning processes is of major importance since the monitoring of the emissions of these contaminants to the atmosphere depends on this knowledge. This paper presents experimental solubility data of a multi-component gas composed by Methane, Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene and p-Xylene into MDEA solutions. The gas-liquid system used in this work represents a realistic experimental environment. The synthetic multi- component gas used in the experiments has similar BTEX content than that of a real gas processing plant. A material balance method is used to obtain accurate solubility results. Gas chromatography (GC) analysis is performed to determine the solubility of the BTEX compounds of the multi-component gas. Experimental data is analyzed, correlated and compared to literature and commercial software results. The results from all the sources is discussed and compared side by side.
