New Hydro-geological Problems and Countermeasures in Chinese Coalmines

In China, various new hydro-geological problems are induced by intensive and deep exploitation of coal resources with new, high-efficient mining system applied. Water hazards and their resulted loss increase in recent years. In addition to the generalization of characteristics of water hazards occurring in our country's coalmines in recent years, new hydro-geological problems are investigated. Then, the main countermeasures against water hazards are proposed.
