摘要

To meet growing demands in every-part-inspection in high-speed mass-production parts machining lines, an in-line high-speed coordinate measuring machine system has been proposed. The structure, mechanism, probe and control system, and data processing software have newly been designed and developed to achieve very high-speed measurement without losing accuracy. The developed CMM is capable of 4 times faster running speed (100 m/min.), 10 times larger acceleration (2g), and 10 times faster approach speed (30mm/sec.) as compared to the conventional vertical CMM. Through the performance test, about 7 times higher performance has been confirmed.
