Lectures Presented at the International Conference on Computational Methods in Science and Engineering (Cos, Greece, 3-8 October, 2010)

This volume collects the texts of lectures presented at the 8th International Conference on Computational Methods in Science and Engineering (Cos, Greece, 3-8 October, 2010). The lectures were given by the Invited and Keynote speakers of the Conference. We have also included significant work by the Symposia organizers, as they are in so many aspects the pillars of the Conference. Starting from the first Conference organized by Professor T.E.Simos (Kastoria, Greece, 12-16 September 2003) the ICCMSE has emerged as an important scientific meeting. The papers presented at ICCMSE 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 have been collected in a series of volumes, published as:
