20 pieces of knitted fabrics including Coolmax/cotton double-faced effect functional fabrics, Adidas quick-drying fabrics and cotton, linen, viscose, tencel, modal etc were chosen as samples in this research. Eight different experiments were carried out to test indexes of heat-moisture properties such as thermal insulation, moisture regain rate, water retention rate, cool feeling, wicking height, evaporation rate, air permeability and water vapor transmission. Then, AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method was creatively introduced to evaluate the comprehensive comfort and classifying these fabrics in sports condition. Double-faced effect functional fabrics and quick-drying fabrics made of synthetic fiber, chemical fiber or modified polyester fiber have good performance of comprehensive heat-moisture comfort.
