The rheological properties of carbon black (CB)/polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) composites were investigated by rheological experiments, focusing on polymer-CB particles interaction. With increasing CB loading, the storage modulus G' gradually oversteps the loss modulus G″ at low frequency, which indicate the microstructure of melt composites takes transition from solid-like to gel-like behavior. In low shear rate region, the elevating temperature causes the increases of the storage modulus G' and complex viscosity η* because of the strong interaction in the CB/PBT composite.
