Hilbert Space theory, which is used as the theoretical foundation of our image mining at first, is introduced in this paper. Then based on Hilbert Space, we propose IMDFSSM that is a general framework for mining Image data. It uses pattern, which is defined as the vector in Hilbert Space, to represent the knowledge of image data quantitatively and can guide the knowledge discovery of image data to certain extent.
