摘要

We have successfully synthesized polyimide (PI)/TiO{sub}2 nanocomposite system. TiO{sub}2 particle was modified with a glycidyl group (T5-GPTS) to enhance the compatibility with PI polymer. Consequently, the compatibility between the two phases of PI and T5-GPTS nanocomposite film was greatly improved and it was confirmed by SEM study showing that dispersed TiO{sub}2 particle size. Compare with PI/T5 (unmodified TiO{sub}2) film, the size of the TiO{sub}2 particles in the PI/T5-GPTS film was substantially reduced due to the effect of GPTS. The mechanical properties, thermal stability and dielectric properties of PI/T5-GPTS nanocomposite films were also investigated.
